The Greek edition of Huffington Post published the solo exhibition of artist Marianna Veremi, curated by Maria Migadi in Tsichritzis Visual Arts Foundation in Athens.

Tsichritzis Visual Arts Foundation presents the solo exhibition of artist Marianna Veremi titled ‘Curtains’, on view from February 16th-21st 2015.

Grand opening on February 16th at 7.00 p.m.

Marianna Veremi studied Graphic Design at the ATI Institute (Doxiades) and continued her studies at the Chelsea School of Art in London and the Museum School in Boston.

Moreover, Veremi has worked as a textile designer for Lowenstein of New York and has been a founding member of the Greek children’s magazine ‘To Rodi’. She has also designed programmes for the Athens Music Hall.

There are works by Marianna Veremi in the collection J. F. Costopoulos Foundation, the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art (Thessaloniki), the Municipal Art Gallery (Thessalonki), and in many private collections.

Curator of the exhibition ‘Curtains’ was Maria Migadi.

‘…..what is actually there in the picture to look at in Marianna’s Veremi abstract paintings? First of all, falling curtains. Falling in seven works of art –the artist’s tribute to her mother’s circle of life. The end of this circle, a year ago, triggered the eruption of the artist’s extreme, yet complementary, experiences and emotions, emerging now in public display in this exhibition.’
